THE PERSON BEHIND THE PHYSICIAN
A family physician.
First and always.
Born in Alexandria, Louisiana, Dr. Ewin first became interested in medicine while working summers in his father’s surgical office. He earned his bachelor’s and medical degrees at Tulane University, followed by a pediatric internship at Charity Hospital in New Orleans.
He worked for the Jamaican Ministry of Health in Montego Bay as a District Medical Officer, also supervising Tulane medical students. After a second internship and residency in family medicine at John Peter Smith Hospital, he spent ten years in private practice before founding 121MD.

THE LIFE BEHIND THE WHITE COATDr. Ewin has served the Fort Worth community as co-chairman of two capital campaigns for All Saints’ Episcopal School and chairman of the campaign to build the Tarrant County Medical Society building. He is married and has four daughters, three sons-in-law, and seven beloved grandchildren.
